Transmitting, receiving and intercepting lines of communications are something that happens daily across the world. With information becoming more and more valuable nowadays and the encryption of data becoming more imperative, actions of transmitting and intercepting information are used to visualise the data from the much older medium of transmission – radio, in particular, short-wave radio from spy numbers stations that are known to still be broadcasting today. Numbers Stations having been used since the Cold War, are still being used in today’s modern day, even with their history of being blocked and intercepted by enemies and today’s modern encryption systems and deviced.
